What are the most effective methods of preventing spam answers (or questions) on a Q & A site like GetTheData.org?

One way is to have moderators -- I've just made you one!

I'm also going to see if I can up the points needed to make a response as opposed to just upvoting.

In addition there is a bulk management interface in administration which is very useful for bulk management).

I've been wondering whether an "obliterate" admin function would be useful that would: a) suspend a user; b) not show them in public user list; c) delete all their questions; d) delete all there comments; e) delete all their votes
