Hi all:

Looking for a accurate (up to date) source of address locations for top Canada retailers such as:

Shoppers Drug Mart, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Home Depot etc.

Thanks

Have you tried scraping the "store locator" widgets on the company web sites? It seems like those are likely to be the most "accurate (up to date) source of address locations" for these retailers. (Although, based on a quick look at a few of them, it appears that they are not designed to make it easy for someone to compile a complete list.)

And/or have you tried Canpages (http://www.canpages.ca/) or YellowPages.ca ( http://www.yellowpages.ca/ -- a/k/a Canada411.ca - http://canada411.yellowpages.ca/)? It appears that Canpages is more likely to yield results that are responsive to your question - and more user friendly than some of the "store locators" - you will just need to a search by province for each retailer.

Looks like aggdata.com (http://www.aggdata.com/) seem like they are in the business of selling these types of datasets. -Sean

Thanks everyone for the replies.

I (finally) found a good source for the data. Red Lion Data

http://www.redliondata.com/

They have a large library of retail and restaurant location data sets for Canada and USA.

Cheers
