I'd like to know if it's possible to get the prices of the foods mentioned on this site: http://www.whfoods.com/foodstoc.php.

I know that the prices vary according to the region, but that's not important right now. I can scrape the prices of a site if needed.

On the sunlight labs group, someone posted a scraper to USDA food price data. That should help:

daily USDA fruit & veg prices

124,741 rows and growing

category, commodity, lowPriceMin, highPriceMax, itemSize, originName (source), cityName (destination), date

http://scraperwiki.com/scrapers/usda_fruit_veg_commodities/

ready to viz.
