In other words, how does the 'composition' of government suppliers, in terms of:

  • SIZE (i.e. Turnover, Employees, Capital Employed, Profit or Stock Market Value)
  • LEGAL STRUCTURE (e.g. Sole Trader, LTD, PLC, Charity, Social Enterprise, etc)

...change (over time) in relation to some measure of performance e.g. efficiency, KPIs,

Prerequisite would be to have open data on suppliers, which indicate size and legal structure.

For example, it might be useful to know if a rise in suppliers that are of one legal structure correlate with cost savings.
