I have credentials for the SDMX SOAP endpoint of the German national statistics unit (destatis), documented here. They offer some other serializations (e.g. CSV) but I would really like to use the XML representation used in SDMX.

My problem is that I have no knowledge of SDMX or the associated WS protocol. A search yielded several fat docs, but perhaps someone here has some experience with this? I want a dump of the DB that is as complete as feasible.
